Philosophy/Vision
“And he said into them: Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with knew tongues; they shall take up serpents and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” Mark 16:15-18“The church is Gods appointed agency for the salvation of the men. It was organized for service, and its mission is to carry the gospel to the world. From the beginning it has been God’s plan that through His church shall be reflected to the world His fullness and His sufficiency. The members of the church, those who he has called out of darkness into His marvelous light, are to show forth His glory. The church is the repository of the riches of the grace of Christ; and through the church will eventually be made manifest, even to “the principalities and power in heavenly places,” the final and full display of the love of God. Ephesians 3:10. Acts of the Apostles p.9
“Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Matthew 28:20″God’s purpose in giving the third angels message to the world is to prepare a people to stand true to Him during the investigative judgment. This is the purpose for which we establish and maintain our publishing houses, our schools our sanitariums, hygienic restaurants, treatment rooms and food factories. This is our purpose in carrying forward every line of work in the cause.” 1MR 228.2
All who have been brought in to the church through baptism are to be taught how to minister. Mark 16 list active involvement in ministry as the signs of those that believe. And in fact, all who claim to have the spirit of Christ will have the spirit of service for his fellow man, both in and outside the church. Had the church this spirit, well-nigh would the world have been reached by a ready church, but it is strongly evident that this is not the case.
God is calling upon those of experience and learning to teach those in the church that do not have the learned experience of matured members. Matthew 28:20 ask us after baptism to continue teaching and this is what Leaves of Life endeavors to do, so in turn thy can be prepared to minister to those outside. Out of the four things mentioned as signs of those that believe, two of them have to do with healing. The others have to do with God’s ability to provide and his ability to protect his children that believe. Christ more times did healing and teaching than merely preaching and this is what those who have the mind of Christ will dedicate themselves to do. There are different ministries but all will tend to lead to healing in at least one aspect of mankind, physically, mentally, spiritually. All that we do in ministry and in life should be preparing ourselves and those who we are ministering to, to stand true to God when champions are few. Our training programs are designed to help the participant understand their obligation to God and man.
Our Vision
Bakery: The formation of a Bakery is one industry, with the finances provided, we will begin to undertake as a way of providing healthy breads and baked goods to the communities around. There is already a market for bread, so marketing would not be very difficult. Humanitarian work (Help for Humanity): Humanitarian work is another way of assisting in our overall work in India and would be more widely accepted. Being a help for humanity would see us being able to enter places more reserve to any other type of work. By providing portable shelters, food, donated clothes, and blankets in winter would be another way of showing sympathy and ministering to there needs in a way that Christ would. People are generally more open to donating to humanitarian work then other causes also the Help for Humanity project would only operate when there are materials donated or funds given toward the purchase of goods needed at that time. Treatment room: A treatment room is needed to help those who come to us with health problems and are willing to be treated with hydro, massage herbs, hygienic and/or dietary counseling. This room would still need to be built as would the structure that would house it and the other industries listed. Health education: For our Health Education training a class room is already available in the house that was built. Only finishing work is left. Tables, chairs and a desk have already been acquired so the only things needed would be a white board and/or a projector. The room where students would stay still needs other furnishings like beds and dressers. The training we would have includes basic remedies and treatments with physiology along literature work and comprehensive study on our pillars of faith. The students would be given field assignments before their training is considered complete. Media: This form of publishing will help us reach a much wider audience. This will be accomplished by making short videos for training and information purposes.
